Though the car has Google’s fingerprints all over it, the Fiat 500 Family Hey Google is still decidedly just that – a Fiat. Specifically, the cars are part of a collaboration between the companies that will see Google’s branding and technology added to three different 500’s, including the City Car, the 500x Crossover, and the 500 MPV.

The more novel aspect of Fiat’s Google Assistant integration, however, is what you can do when you’re not driving. With help from Fiat’s Google Mopar system, drivers of the Hey Google Fiats can access vehicle information like gas levels or whether their car is locked from any device equipped with Google Assistant.
While Fiat says this is the first time Google’s branding has appeared on any car, the tech giant isn’t exactly a stranger to the automotive sector. Google Assistant is accessible inside any car using Android Auto (Google’s automotive operating system), and Waymo, a self-driving company, was originally created as a Google project.
