You can also pay $150 for the Zephyr Starter Pack, which comes with the mask and 33 filters — equivalent to 99 days of usage. A set of 10 filters will run you $30. Filters are rated for three-day use, though they don’t expire exactly three days after you first use. Instead filters function on a per hour basis — if you use the filter for one hour each day, it could theoretically last you 72 days.
Release the Kraken... V3
The popular Kraken line of gaming headsets is getting revamped. The new Kraken V3 PC headset will come in three models: Kraken V3 ($100), Kraken V3 HyperSense ($130), and Kraken V3 Pro ($200). The first two are available today, while the Pro will launch in Q4. All models feature TriForce titanium 50mm drivers, THX Spatial Audio, and Razer Chroma RGB. The Pro model is also the only wireless headset of the three, and it has a detachable microphone.
HyperSense
The Kraken V3 Pro and Kraken V3 HyperSense use haptic drivers in the headset to relay game feedback for a higher level of immersion. Unlike the Razer Nari headset, which first used HyperSense, the Kraken V3 has a dedicated button for adjusting the level of haptic feedback between low, medium, high, and off. If you want to feel every explosion, you’ll want HyperSense on, though.
Get comfy
The Razer Iskur was the company’s first gaming chair, with the built-in, adjustable lumbar system being the flagship feature. However, the new Razer Enki gaming chair takes a different approach, focusing on a design that is more comfortable all-around with better weight distribution and a wider seat base and shoulder arch. The “budget” Razerk Enki X will run you $300, missing only a few features such as the 4D armrests, reactive seat tilt, and the memory foam headrest pillow, which is sold separately.
Seiren call
With Apple, Google, and Samsung news, you may have missed the launch of two new Razer microphones only two days ago. The Seiren V2 X ($100) and Seiren V2 Pro ($150) are the latest addition to the Seiren line. The former sits in the middle of price and features, while the latter is the new high-end Razer microphone.
