The Apple Watch Series 8 packs a ton of new features into less than 2 inches on your wrist. Temperature sensors built with women’s health in mind, crash detection, and a longer battery life make it one of the most innovative smartwatches yet — aside from the Apple Watch Ultra, of course.
Coming in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, the Apple Watch Series 8 is compatible with any band in the Apple Watch Studio. Plus, collaborations from Hermès and Nike will elevate your piece from sporty to chic.
Starting with the most luxurious, Apple Watch Hermès has three bands to contribute. The first is the Gourmette Metal ($849), a stainless steel chain with noir leather that wraps twice around the wrist.
The Apple Watch Hermès H-Diagonal ($449) is next with microscopic Hermès H micro-perforations. It comes in a four leathers to accentuate the sporty pattern.
If you’re feeling lucky, Hermès also has a Lucky Horse band in the running. It serves as a nod to Hermès’s equestrian roots with the Horse watch face and pairs best with a sleek, thin band. The horse sleeps when the watch is down and wakes up when raised.
Nike Sports Loops ($49) use a flexible nylon weave. A branded “Just Do It” logo is woven into the band to rep your Nike pride.
For the regular bands, Apple is introducing new shades to the $49 Solo Loop: succulent, sunglow, midnight, storm Blue, and starlight. The stretchy silicone rubber is comfortable on your wrist without the need for buckles or clasps.
The Braided Solo Loop ($99) will come in rainforest, slate blue, (product) red, beige, and midnight. No buckles or clasps here either, but the braided effect adds some elegance.
Classic Sports Bands ($49) will arrive in elderberry, slate blue, succulent, product (red), starlight, white, and midnight. A pin-and-tuck closure keeps the band secure, while fluoroelastomer provides smooth comfort.
Classic Sport Loops ($49) are also joining the mix with a nylon weave. Choose from storm blue, starlight, elderberry, product (Red), and midnight shades.
You can shop the Apple Watch bands now on the Apple store with in-store availability beginning Friday, September 16.
