5. Funspot

Located in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire, Funspot has been officially recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's largest current arcade. Funspot was founded by Bob Lawton in 1952 and features over 600 arcade games. Other highlights include an 18-hole mini-golf course, an on-site tavern, and a classic arcade museum with highlights like Pong.

4. Barcade

Barcade claims itself to be "the original arcade bar" with a mix of retro gaming and craft beers. It first started in 2004 in the Williamsburg area of New York City. It's since expanded to nine locations, but the original can still be found in Brookyln.

3. Joypolis

Ranking as much more than just an arcade, Joypolis in Tokyo features more traditional cabinet-style arcade games like Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, paired with advanced virtual reality titles like Beat Saber, scaling all the way up to full-blown rollercoasters. Why not?

2. Galloping Ghost Arcade

Tired of putting your hand in your pocket to keep playing? Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield, Illinois charges a flat $20 entry fee for unlimited access to over 500 arcade games. Founder Doc Mack unveils new games via his YouTube channel, and his games have been responsible for over 100 world records being set.

1. Blackpool Pleasure Beach

The Blackpool Pleasure Beach arcade in the U.K. sets itself apart from others as it has one of the most outlandish arcade games ever made. Ridge Racer Full Scale takes the traditional driving game and adds in a full-size car for the complete experience. Games You Love documented a 2018 pilgrimage to the site, where the car remains after all these years – albeit in a slightly used condition.
