Out of “The 50” collection of Dunk Lows that Virgil Abloh designed for Nike, the Lot 01 of 50 pair was one of the most limited — along with the Lot 50 of 50, which came with a blacked-out design.
As you may recall, Nike gave people “Exclusive Access” to the shoes via its SNKRS app, where no one knew which pair they were getting until it showed up at their door. A fair, unorthodox way to drop super exclusive sneakers.
Nike has launched hundreds of its iconic Dunk Low sneakers over the past couple of years, but none are more hyped than its collaborations with Abloh and Off-White. The 50 collection is chief among them — especially the Lot 1 pair, which is a contender for best of the best in 2021.
Part of what makes the Off-White x Nike Dunks so sought after, resale value aside, is that Abloh always makes them look like a reworked, DIY version of the Swoosh’s iconic shoes.
