Nike and Virgil Abloh have dropped quite a few amazing Off-White sneakers this year, but perhaps none louder and brighter than this “Lemonade” Air Force 1 Low.
The super bright yellow pair arrived to coincide with the opening of Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” art exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.
While the stunning shoe was available for $150 to those who got access to it on Nike’s SNKRS app, pairs were extremely limited — and now they’re selling for as much as $2,100 on apps like GOAT.
That high resale price shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering how Off-White has done other versions of Nike’s Air Force 1 and they all tend to be extremely hyped and rare.
As with his take on other Nike silhouettes, like Dunks or Air Jordans, what makes these Off-White AF1 so desirable to sneakerheads (aside from being limited) is Abloh’s DIY, deconstructed aesthetic.
