CES 2022
HyperX is bringing all kinds of updated accessories to CES 2022, including a wireless headset with a battery life it claims will last for more than a week on a single charge.
The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Headset is the wireless version of HyperX’s wired Cloud Alpha headset and comes with some impressive features.
HyperX says the device gets up to 300 hours of battery life on a single charge, supports DTS Headphone: X for “3D spatial audio”, and an updated dual-chamber driver design that allows for the same sound performance in a smaller body.
Along with new headsets, HyperX is also introducing a game controller for use with PCs and Android devices. The HyperX Clutch Wireless Gaming Controller looks like it mimics the button and joystick layout of Xbox controllers and connects to your devices either by an included USB-A to USB-C cable or Bluetooth 4.2.
HyperX says the Clutch gets 19 hours of battery life on a single charge and includes a phone clip for attaching your mobile device to the controller while gaming on the go.
HyperX’s final new product is a lightweight wireless mouse called the HyperX Pulsefire Haste Wireless Gaming Mouse.
The Haste features a honeycomb design for better ventilation and to make the mouse lighter, according to HyperX. The mouse offers a low latency 2.4Ghz connection, 100 hours of battery life on a single charge, and a water-resistant IP55 rating.
Along with six programmable buttons, HyperX’s new mouse is rated for up to 80 million clicks, and of course, offers the ability to customize its RGB lights with the company’s Ngenuity software.
- The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a new 65 percent form factor keyboard with RGB backlighting, HyperX red and aqua switches, and a 80 million lifetime click rating for each switch
- The HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset supports 7.1 virtual surround sound and now comes in new white and pink colorways
- The HyperX Cloud Core Headset now comes with DTS Headphone:X, meaning you can take advantage of 3D Spatial Audio for content that supports it
