Sandbox video games are where modders let their imaginations flow. Valheim is no exception. Iron Gate Studios, the indie developer behind the game, put a call out for players to show their best Valheim creations. It didn't take long for some major builds to make it into the forefront — with a special emphasis on some of the most popular movies and TV series.
Valheim submissions have ranged from Notre Dame to the Colosseum, depending on which player's masterpiece you're looking at. But in the most recent development, a gamer named Zabore on Reddit went ahead and let their love for Harry Potter show in full force.
The Reddit user shared a look at their creation in a post, including a detailed construction of the famous quidditch pitch. Zabore created the well-known pillars for the field, which in the Harry Potter-verse allow people to sit back and behold intense quidditch games with athletes vying for victory mid-air. The goal posts of the field are also visible. With the surrounding lush woods, it looks straight out of the famous series.
Zabore also created the famous school hall for Hogwarts, including the relevant house flags for Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. If you're a Harry Potter fan, you will instantly recognize those sturdy wooden tables in front of the teacher's table row, although Zabore hasn’t shown any floating candles yet.
As mentioned before, Harry Potter isn't the only fictional universe that gets a visual shout out in Valheim. A user named @EricGalenzoga on Twitter created a rather magical Valheim version of Winterfell out of Game of Thrones.
Some have built their own editions of a death metal mosh pit comprising wild boars slamming into each other. Others went ahead to build spas with tiki bars and yet more just stick to therapeutic landscaping. You will have to sit tight for Zabore to create a dungeon where a troll lives, though.
