Who said you can’t make smoothies in a fancy blender?

If you're still debating between buying a Magic Bullet or a NutriBullet, there’s a new offer in town for die-hard juicers. NutriBullet's founder Colin Sapire has launched the B10 health blender as part of the new and separate Beast Health wellness line.

Blenders can be a hit or miss. Depending on the power they pack, how leak-resistant they are or not, and their various design features, you might end up with a powerful machine — or a lukewarm contraption on the counter.

The B10 health blender comes with an innovative design, leak-resistant seal, a drinking lid, and a carry cap that's optimal for the on-the-go fitness freak. You can buy it in either black, gray, or white.

“From the electronic interlock blade system to the thermal safety sensor and innovative 12-rib vessel design,” Sapire says, “our B10 Health Blender was engineered to elevate our customer experience; reducing spills and noise, while maximizing safety and blending efficiency.”

Let’s do some comparisons. A small Magic Bullet will cost you about $30 through Amazon while the original NutriBullet will run you almost $60. Both options are obviously cheaper than the B10 blender. But the price on the latest Sapire design makes sense when you compare its features with the former two.

Do the math

Compared to Magic Bullet's 250 wattage operational power and NutriBullet's 600-1,700 watt range, B10 sits at a comfortable 1,000 wattage and 120 voltage. It packs more blending power than Magic Bullet and NutriBullet with a 25 oz capacity. The B10 blender runs at two speeds: pulse and blend.

If $138 isn't too steep a price for you, the B10 blender is your buddy. But if you think healthy juices and smoothies don’t require somewhat expensive gadgets, stick to the old-school options. We don’t mind at all.
