These 11 games head to Xbox Game Pass in December 2022

11. Eastward

December 1 (Cloud/Console/PC)

Eastward is worth checking out for its gorgeous art and music alone. Fortunately, this Zelda-inspired RPG also features some excellent action and puzzles.

Pixpil
10. The Walking Dead: The Final Season

December 1 (Cloud/Console/PC)

As of today, the entire Telltale Walking Dead saga is available on Game Pass. The Final Season finishes Clementine’s story, putting a cap on her seven-year journey.

9. Totally Reliable Delivery Service

December 1 (PC)

This physics-based co-op game puts you in the shoes of a terrible delivery driver flinging packages with wild abandon. It’s like Overcooked! for couriers, making it a hilarious game to play with friends.

8. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

December 6 (Cloud/Console/PC)

It’s been a surprisingly good year for Star Wars fans. Andor gave us the best Star Wars show yet, while The Skywalker Saga is the best game for the series in ages. The collect-a-thon platformer is full of iconic scenes spanning the whole saga.

7. Hello Neighbor 2

December 6 (Cloud/Console/PC)

Stealth horror game Hello Neighbor 2 hits Game Pass on its release date. Playing as an investigative journalist, you’ll need to outsmart your AI neighbors to uncover the dark secrets of your seemingly sleepy town.

6. Chained Echoes

December 8 (Cloud/Console/PC)

A day one Game Pass release, Chained Echoes is a turn-based JRPG full of magic and mechs, brought to life with jaw-dropping pixel art.

5. Metal: Hellsinger

December 6 (Xbox One)

Metal: Hellsinger is a hell of a good time, whether you’re a dedicated metalhead or not. In this fast-paced rhythm FPS, you’ll need to time your attacks to the soundtrack to overcome hordes of demonic enemies.

The Outsiders
4. High on Life

December 13 (Cloud/Console/PC)

High on Life’s notorious Gamescom trailer soured the mood, but this shooter from Trover Saves the Universe developer Squanch Games is looking good otherwise. Its talking guns and crude sense of humor will likely make or break the game for you.

3. Potion Craft

December 13 (Console/PC)

Potions are in this year. Crafting sim Potion Craft tasks you to invent new potions for your shop through a charmingly hands-on interface, all illustrated with top-notch art.

Niceplay Games
2. Hot Wheels Unleashed — Game of the Year Edition

December 15 (Cloud/Console/PC)

I don’t recall Hot Wheels Unleashed winning any GOTY awards, but the special edition comes packed with great new cars nonetheless. The 2021 arcade racer is tons of fun and lets you build your own tracks to keep races fresh for as long as you want.

1. Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan

December 15 (Cloud/Console/PC)

Family-friendly puzzle platformer Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan is the rare kids game that’s just as much fun for adults. Its great gameplay is backed up by colorful graphics and a surprisingly touching story.
