Protagonist Serenoa is the “genius lord” of a high house in the Kingdom of Glenbrook. He’s described as a sincere person still naive in the ways of the world.

Benedict is the longtime butler of House Wolffort, who’s something of a right-hand man to Serenoa. He’s seen as cold and calculating by others.

The leader of Wolffort’s soldiers and protector of Serenoa since he was a child, Erador has a “hearty and honest” personality but frequently clashes with Benedict.

The princess of the Grand Duchy of Aesfrost is being wed into House Wolffort to improve relations between the two countries. She’s described as having a “strong and unbreakable will.”
