9. Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure

Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure, offers enough challenge for fans of the movie to stay engaged. Its 3D platforming and puzzles may be too simple for older players, but it’s well tuned for kids.

8. Jumanji: The Video Game

The co-op Jumanji: The Video Game has you exploring trap-filled ruins with friends, like a deadly version of Legends of the Hidden Temple. Fair warning: it got absolutely trashed by reviewers, but at least it won’t trap you inside if you lose.

7. ReadySet Heroes

ReadySet Heroes is a multiplayer dungeon-crawling party game that got mixed reviews. In its two modes, you’ll race through randomly generated dungeons before battling another team or fight your way up an ever-changing tower.

6. Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition

Set in the wilds of Iceland, Spirit of the North puts you in the paws of a fox after an encounter with an animal spirit. It’s all about exploration and puzzle-solving in a breathtaking environment.

5. Saints Row IV & Gat Out of Hell

Along with Saints Row IV, PS Plus gets the expansion Gat Out of Hell. Just like it sounds, the expansion has you fighting your way out of the underworld. Both games exemplify the series’ maximalist phase ahead of the more grounded Saints Row reboot.

4. Assassin’s Creed

Fans of old-timey murder are in for a treat, with Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, Unity, Rogue, Freedom Cry, and The Ezio Collection hitting PS Plus. That’s almost the entire Assassin’s Creed series up to 2014, and lots of fans still count Black Flag as the best of the lot.

Ubisoft
3. Marvel’s Avengers

Marvel’s Avengers quite simply doesn’t stack up as a live service game, but its single-player campaign is still worth a look. The latest edition to its superhero roster is Jane Foster, aka Mighty Thor.

Crystal Dynamics
2. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

FF7R Intergrade adds the game’s lovable materia thief in the Yuffie-centric INTERmission chapter, along with improved visuals for PS5. Final Fantasy VII Remake is also on PS Plus.

1. Stray

This month’s headliner is 2022’s most adorable adventure. Stray casts you as a curious cat exploring a city populated by robots to find their way home, while causing feline mischief along the way.
