Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl launch on November 19, but Pokémon GO players can start celebrating the return to Sinnoh a little early.

Here are 8 ways Pokémon GO is celebrating the launch of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

1. Sinnoh outfits

Players can get dressed up for the occasion with new clothing items that will stick around once the event ends.

Starting November 15, you can snag a free set of Sinnoh clothes for your avatar.

2. Sinnoh starter Pokémon onesies

On the same day, you can buy a Piplup, Chimchar, or Turtwig onesie from the in-game shop.

Things really kick off on November 16 when costumed Sinnoh starters start appearing in-game.

3. Catch special Sinnoh starters

Chimchar, Turtwig, and Piplup will appear wearing Dawn and Lucas’ signature red and white hats will appear in the wild and through Field Research.

4. Catch Froslass

Capturing all six variants will earn you a nice chunk of XP and Stardust, plus a chance to catch Froslass.

5. Boosted Sinnoh spawn rates

Sinnoh Pokémon will show up more often, with increased encounter rates, Field Research encounters, and appearances in raids.

6. Easier egg-hatching for these Gen 4 monsters:

- Budew

- Bonsly

- Happiny

- Mime Jr.

- Riolu

7. Mega Lopunny hops to it

Throughout the event, Mega Lopunny will appear in Mega Raids.

8. You’ll also have a greater chance to catch Shiny versions of Sinnoh Pokémon.

The event ends November 21, so you can spend a few days outside before shunning the Sun to marathon Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
