How to catch Regice in Pokémon: The Crown Tundra

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company The latest Pokémon Sword and Shield DLC, The Crown Tundra , is all about catching Legendary Pokémon.

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company Regice , an Ice-type Legendary that originally appeared in the Hoenn region also returns, along with other "Regi" Pokémon like Registeel and Regirock.

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company To catch Regice, first head to Snowslide Slope, where you'll find the Legendary Pokémon's temple. You can get there by taking a sharp left immediately after entering Giant’s Bed from Frostpoint field.

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company On your way, make sure to catch a Cryogonal. You’ll need it. They can be found throughout the Crown Tundra, so you’ll definitely spot one roaming around.

Upon reaching the Snowslide Slope, you’ll see a forked path. Take the left one to find the Regice temple.

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company You'll find the temple at the path's end. Interact with the temple door to receive a riddle: “Walk together with a living crystal of snow.”

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company Make Cryogonal the first Pokémon in your party so they follow you. Once that’s done, interact with the door again.

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company Once inside, run across the seven circles on the ground so they all light up at once.

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company Now it’s time to fight and capture Regice. They’re weak against Fighting-, Rock-, Steel-, and Fire-type attacks. Dusk and Heavy balls are the best to capture them.

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company If you accidentally kill Regice, don’t worry. Light up the floor and interact with the statue again to retry the battle
