7. The Courier

The Courier is a pretty robust-looking life sim/exploration game set on a mysterious island. You play, naturally, as a courier delivering mail, but the trailer shows everything from hang gliding to dog walking is on offer. It’s due on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and Switch sometime in 2022.

6. Sanabi

The extremely flashy Sanabi is an action platformer built around a very fun-seeming grappling hook that lets you zip around its cyberpunk environments like a mix between Bionic Commando and Ghostrunner. It’s slated for a mid-2022 release on PC.

5. The Last Friend

Hitting Switch in April 2022, The Last Friend is a side-scrolling brawler with light RPG and tower defense elements, plus a whole kennel’s worth of pettable dog pals. The Last Friend is available now on PC and has a Switch demo.
