Hope you’re not hungry.

Square Enix’s farming sim RPG Harvestella is due out in November. We’re excited to play this genre mashup, meet (and hopefully date) its colorful cast, and gawk over its absurdly realistic food.
Behold, a bean! Before we get to the really good stuff, just check out how lovingly Harvestella renders even its raw ingredients, like this funky little legume. It only gets more detailed from here.
You make Harvestella’s meals from ingredients you grow or forage. The zucchini mince takes a mix of farming and hunting to prepare.
As the name Fisherman’s Sandwich should tell you, Harvestella also lets you go fishing to add some sea food to your meals.
Eating food in Harvestella replenishes your hunger meter, letting you regain stamina when you’re out in the field — unlike in real life, where eating this much cheese would probably mean spending the day nursing a sore tummy.
Hop juice? Really? I know beer when I see it, even with the mind-boggling decision to drink it out of a straw. Presumably this functions like any other food, rather than giving you a wisdom debuff like it should.
With food like this, let’s hope Square Enix is gearing up to release a Harvestella cookbook so we can all make our own much sloppier versions.
This strawberry cake looks good enough to make Paul Hollywood weep with joy, which is frankly better than any in-game buff it might provide.

Square Enix is dropping beautiful new food illustrations with every Harvestella announcement lately, so there’s probably even more to get hungry for before its November 4 release.
