Will they join the Loop?

The ongoing Epic Games v. Apple court case is giving the public a peak behind the curtain at the notoriously secretive games industry.

One of the biggest recent reveals was a presentation full of scrapped or delayed Fortnite plans, including some crossover skins that may still be in the works.

Here are the 10 strangest Fortnite skins revealed in the Epic v. Apple court case

10. Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto)

It’s hard to believe Naruto isn’t in Fortnite yet, but it seems like it’s only a matter of time before he sprints onto the battlefield, especially now that the game’s first anime bundle is available.

Viz Media
9. Samus Aran (Metroid)

Samus would have been right at home with Fortnite’s other bounty hunters and console mascots, but so far this collab seems as far off as Metroid Prime 4.

Lionsgate Films

8. Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games)

Katniss just can’t catch a break. First she had to compete in the Hunger Games, and now there’s talk of her fighting in another battle royale. If she does make an appearance, she’d fit right in with the bow-wielders of Season 6.

7. The Bride (Kill Bill)

With one of the most recognizable costumes in movie history (courtesy of Bruce Lee), The Bride would no doubt be a popular pick if she ever showed up in Fortnite.

Miramax Films

6. Snake Plissken (Escape from New York)

Solid Snake’s namesake seems like a natural addition to Fortnite, but after he missed the ‘80s movie crossovers of Season 5, it’s unlikely he’ll get a chance to escape from the Loop.

5. John McClane (Die Hard)

Die Hard’s John McClane may have been cut because a regular guy in a tank top isn’t that interesting, or maybe Epic thought Fortnite already has enough Christmas-themed skins.

4. LeBron James

LeBron James’ potential inclusion in Fortnite makes a lot more sense after his appearance in Space Jam: A New Legacy, especially considering the reveal that Epic was also planning a basketball mini-game.

3. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

It only makes sense that one of the biggest movie stars in the world (literally and figuratively) would show up in Fortnite. All we ask is that he gets an alternate fanny pack skin.

2. Ariana Grande

This pop superstar would certainly be an interesting pick for Fortnite, but it’s easy to see why giving players the chance to mow people down in her skin might not be great for her image.

1. Lady Gaga

If it doesn’t happen, this may be the biggest missed opportunity of all. Fortnite could get a season’s worth of skins out of Lady Gaga’s iconic outfits alone.
