The June 2022 Nintendo Direct Mini packed a lot of big announcements into one short video.

Just days after offering an in-depth look at Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Nintendo returned with a Nintendo Direct Mini on upcoming third-party games.
Revealed at the Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary stream, Dragon Quest Treasures now has a December 9 release date. The announcement followed a trailer showing how the game’s treasure-hunting and monster-slaying will look in action.
Surprise! After 15 years, two of the most inventive puzzle games ever on available now on Switch. Portal and Portal 2 come in one package, with local and online co-op for the sequel.
Nintendo made good on rumors shortly after they emerged, revealing the incredible NieR: Automata is heading to Switch October 6. It will include all the game’s DLC, plus exclusive new costumes.
Blanc is one of the most intriguing games of the Direct. With gorgeous black-and-white graphics, this puzzle adventure follows a wolf cub and a fawn on a perilous, snowy journey home. Out February 2023, Blanc features local and online co-op.
The remake of Japan-only RPG Live A Live hits stores July 22. Starting after the Direct, a new demo is up on the eShop, so you can play through the first three chapters and carry your data over to the full game.

5. Return to Monkey Island
Return to Monkey Island has old-school adventure fans excited, and for good reason. Alongside a very pretty new trailer, the Direct announced it will launch on Switch in 2022.
On top of a new trailer, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak revealed its update roadmap, with new content coming August 2022, then later this autumn and winter, and through 2023. For now, a new demo is up on the eShop.
The sequel to a surprisingly good Mario tactical RPG, Mario + Rabbids: Spark of Hope hits Switch October 20. The Direct gave us a closer look and combat and revealed the start of preorders on the eShop and Nintendo’s website.
Persona fans have gotten plenty of good news lately. Now, after some extremely not-chill reactions to Xbox ports, Switch owners can join in. Persona 5 Royal lands on Switch October 21, with Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable to follow.
One of the show’s biggest surprises was Harvestella. The life sim from Square Enix lets you farm, craft, and make friends with your digital neighbors while defending your happy new home from monsters.
