It’s your last chance to explore the Wild West, Rivia, and the open road...

Here’s every game leaving Xbox Game Pass in September 2021.

Red Dead Online

(September 13, Cloud/Console)

Rockstar’s multiplayer Wild West playground is hitting the ol’ dusty trail this month. If you want to keep up your life of crime, Red Dead Online is available as a standalone game on Xbox or as part of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Company of Heroes 2

(September 15, PC)

Company of Heroes 2 is more than seven years old now, and it’s still one of the best real-time strategy games around. Even if the WWII setting doesn’t do it for you, COH2’s intricate, challenging campaign is worth playing.

Disgaea 4

(September 15, PC)

If you’re looking for a turn-based tactics game with more demonic penguins (and who isn’t?), Disgaea 4 is the game for you. This maximalist game is packed with dense mechanics, countless characters, and a quirky, love-it-or-hate-it sense of humor.

Forza Motorsport 7

(September 15, Cloud/Console/PC)

Forza Motorsport 7 isn’t just leaving Game Pass; it’s being removed from the Microsoft Store this month. To keep playing one of the best racing sims ever, you’ll have to buy it before then, or wait for the sequel.

Hotshot Racing

(September 15, Cloud/Console)

Maybe frenetic arcade-style racing is more your style. Well, you’re about to lose a great — and great-looking — arcade racer, too.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics

(September 15, Cloud/Console/PC)

Age of Resistance isn’t the best tactics game on Game Pass (or even the best one leaving this month). Still, it’s worth a look for Dark Crystal fans.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

(September 15, Cloud/Console)

Thronebreaker is one of the best RPGs on Game Pass, and one of the most original. It uses a unique card system (based on The Witcher’s Gwent) for its battles while telling the story of a queen defending her lands from invasion.
