The first trailer for Scream 5 (officially titled Scream) is out, and it gives us a taste of what (and who) to expect in the horror revival.

Here’s every returning and new character announced so far for Scream 5.

Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott

It wouldn’t be Scream without Neve Campbell. Sidney Prescott has survived several run-ins with Ghostface already, and she’s ready for one more round.

David Arquette as Dewey Riley

David Arquette returns as Dewey Riley. In Scream 4, he became the sheriff of Woodsboro, but it’s not clear if he’s still working in that capacity.

Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers

Rounding out the franchise’s founding trio, Courteney Cox returns as Gale Weathers. She seems a bit wearier than Sidney about taking on Ghostface again.

Jenna Ortega as Tara Carpenter

After appearing in Netflix’s The Babysitter: Killer Queen, Jenna Ortega is taking on another killer. Based on the trailer, her odds of making it to the end seem slim.

Melissa Barrera as Sam Carpenter

Once it’s clear Ghostface is back, Sidney returns to Woodsboro to warn Tara’s sister, Sam. She’s played by Melissa Barrera, who starred in In the Heights.

Dylan Minnette as Wes Hicks

Best known for Don’t Breathe and 13 Reasons Why, Dylan Minnette plays Wes Hicks in Scream 5. That makes him the son of Judy Hicks, a deputy from Scream 4.

Marley Shelton as Judy Hicks

Speaking of Hicks, Marley Shelton is reprising her role in Scream 5.

Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin

The actress, from The Leftovers, is playing Mindy Meeks-Martin in Scream 5. Presumably, she’s related to the original’s Randy Meeks and his sister Martha from Scream 3.

Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin

Booksmart’s Mason Gooding plays Mindy’s brother, Chad.

Jack Quaid as Richie Kirsch

Jack Quaid of The Boys plays Richie Kirsch in Scream 5. He’s one of a few characters with no obvious tie to the previous films.

Sonia Ben Ammar as Liv McKenzie

Singer Sonia Ben Ammar plays Liv McKenzie. In the original Scream, the McKenzies were neighbors of Casey Becker (Drew Barrymore). That tenuous connection could still explain why she’s wrapped up in the latest killing spree.

Mikey Madison as Amber Freeman

Mikey Madison of Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood plays Amber Freeman. She’s evidently close to Tara, based on a scene in the trailer where Ghostface impersonates her via text message.

Kyle Gallner as Vince

Dear White People’s Kyle Gallner appears as Vince. He’s the only character whose surname hasn’t been revealed, which seems important in a series as obsessed with family relations as Scream.

Roger L. Jackson as Ghostface

Well, the voice of Ghostface anyway. The actual identity of the killer is a closely guarded secret, but Jackson has voiced the character in every installment so far.
