After over a year of movie delays, Disney isn’t in the clear quite yet. The company just revealed some major shifts to its release slate, including six Marvel movies. Let’s take a closer look at the new MCU schedule.

6. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

The Benedict Cumberbatch sequel (also featuring Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch) is delayed from March 25, 2022 to May 6 — when Thor: Love and Thunder was originally scheduled.

5. Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor’s next movie moves from May 6, 2022 to July 8, bumping Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in the process.

4. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Black Panther 2 slides from July 8, 2022 to November 11 (and pushes back The Marvels).

3. The Marvels

The Captain Marvel sequel jumps from November 11 to February 17, 2023.

2. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

The Paul Rudd threequel is moving to July 28, 2023, where it claims the spot of an “Untitled Marvel” movie. Blade, perhaps?

Speaking of which, Disney is actually bumping up another unannounced Marvel movie from November 10, 2023 to November 3. Could it be Marvel’s highly-anticipated X-Men movie?

Disney also announced a few other changes. Including the removal of two untitled Marvel movies.

Finally, two upcoming MCU films, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 are staying put at December 17, 2021 and May 5, 2023, respectively.

(Eternals is also still releasing in November, and as far as we can tell this shouldn’t impact Marvel’s Disney+ plans.)
