HBO Max is getting a huge update to its library in February, but it's losing a few great sci-fi films.

Here are four sci-fi classics and one recent sequel leaving HBO Max on February 28.

5. Soylent Green (1973)

In the dystopian future of 2022, a detective on a murder case discovers the secret behind a life-saving food source — and one of the most famous movie twists of all time.

4. The Omega Man (1971)

"The last man on Earth" fights for survival in a devastated Los Angeles in the second film adaptation of the novel I Am Legend.

3. Logan's Run (1976)

Life is short in this campy thriller, which is worth watching both for its high-concept ideas and its gloriously cheesy art direction.

2. Westworld (1973)

The basis for the 2016 HBO series, Westworld is set in a theme park where a robotic gunslinger gets too good at his job.

1. Doctor Sleep (2019)

In this sequel to The Shining, Danny Torrance returns to the Overlook Hotel to protect a young girl who shares his psychic gift from a cult.
