After a year-long delay from Covid-19 distancing orders, Avengers Campus is opening its doors at Disney California Adventure Park.

Originally scheduled for a July 2020 opening, Avengers Campus brings the heroes of a little film series you may have heard of to the Anaheim, California park.

Spidey fans will be seeing double, with a costumed performer on ground level and an acrobatic stunt robot zipping along the rooftops.

Tom Holland even makes an appearance to lead visitors through “Web Slingers,” which uses real and virtual sets plus motion-capturing cameras to let riders take on an army of Spider-bots with Spider-Man.

The other major attraction, “Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout,” has been open since 2017 but is now incorporated into Avengers Campus.

Set in the Collector’s citadel, “Mission: Breakout” features a free-fall ride and a look at some of the Collector’s favorite curios.

Fans of Marvel’s mystical side can visit the Ancient Sanctum, which features performances by Doctor Strange and nighttime light shows.

And what would a theme park be without plenty of ways to part with your cash?

On top of mountains of merch, the park hosts the Avengers’ favorite shawarma place and an Ant-Man-themed eatery with a mix of tiny and supersized food.

Plans are already underway to expand the campus.

The first addition will be a staged showdown between Black Widow and Taskmaster.

California residents can start to assemble at Avengers Campus when it opens on June 4. Everyone else will have to wait until June 15, when Disneyland re-opens to out-of-state guests.
